It started with a plate...

More than 10 years ago, I sat at my table bloated, unhealthy and overweight. I started to take control with one small step. I decided to have my dinner on a small dinner plate, and fill it with healthy food.

More than a decade later and here I am – much healthier, happier and fitter, and still bearing the nickname”Carrie Small Plate” from my family. All thanks to that Small Plate.

I now delightedly work as a Personal Trainer and fitness instructor.

I have my own Studio in Galway city where I help people to transform themselves & their lives, and enable them to become the best version of themselves that they can be.

I love to work with busy women who want to make changes to their lifestyles but are time-poor and feel overwhelmed when it comes to their Health & Fitness. I offer solutions that work for their busy lifestyles, and I get fantastic results through an approach that focuses on Mindset, Nutrition & Fitness (in that order).

I also offer a range of classes, with another area of expertise being exercise for Older Adults – I offer a range of fitness classes for adults over-55 with focus on general fitness, functional strength and balance & mobility.

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me at one of these places – out for a run, cycling with my daughter, watching a comedy show on Netflix or listening to the radio. I’ve also been known to enjoy a glass of wine on a Sunday evening with my husband Malachy in his pub. Life is all about balance 😉
